Apparently, it's a matter of fashion. After Eurovision I couldn't help making such a picture. Here you can see not all performers, but the most remarkable ones.
I'll explain some moments, so that you understand the joke better.
Slovakia had men in costumes made of leaves and branches, so I calles them "Dancing bushes" as a joke.
The Finnish performers look very much like the two girls from Dirol bubble gum commercial 30 years later. That's why I drew them as bubble gum. [link]
The singer from Switzerland resembled Cheburashka so much because of his ears that I couldn't help myself. [link]
The singer from Latvia had extremely strange puppy eyes while she was singing.
The rest of the countries that you can see in this picture: Moldova, Malta, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Serbia, Spain and a random man ( [link] ) , Belgium, Greece, Poland, and, of course, Lithuania.
By the way, as for Lithuania. It's such a pity for me that they didn't make it to the final, they had a wonderful song and a good performance.
From all singers I especially liked ones from Turkey, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Bosnia and Estonia.
But I gave my personal vote for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Second year in a row. It's already a tradition.
